Day Destination Experience
1 London Arrival

Welcome to London! Upon arrival, your private car and driver will meet you outside Customs Hall for your transfer to London. The balance of this day is at leisure.

2 London

After breakfast, your private guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel where you’ll depart by private car for a morning visiting the City of London; St. Paul’s Cathedral, The Bank of England, London Bridge, Tower Bridge are just a few of the sights awaiting you. A visit to the Tower of London is the highlight this morning and will include a viewing of the Crown Jewels, the Armor Collection and viewing the remnants of the wall of the Roman fortress, built Emperor Claudius to protect the city then known then as Londinium. Your car and driver will return you to your hotel or another point in central London where you may enjoy the balance of the day exploring London.

3 London

Oscar Wilde was one of the Victorian eras most important authors and personalities and this morning your private guide will take you on a walk back in time to discover Wilde’s Victorian London. This is the London of Whistler, Beardsley, Shaw, Lillie Langry, Gilbert & Sullivan – but above all, Oscar Wilde. No author amused and outraged Victorian society the way Wilde did.  During your private walking tour, you’ll follow Oscar’s footsteps, from triumph to tragedy in the very places where his life and art unfolded. Since there is so much more of London to see, enjoy the balance of the day on your own.

4 London

Today’s highlight is a chance to explore the Charles Dickens Museum. The rare books, paintings, photographs and memorabilia offer a unique insight into the life and work of the author. “My house in town” is how Dickens referred to this address; within these calls his two eldest daughters were born, his beloved sister in law Mary died and some of his best loved novels were written, including Oliver Twist

5 London

The Victorian Era is, of course, named after the reign of Queen Victoria. No exploration of the historical period would be complete without understanding the Queen and there is no better place to begin than the place of her birth, Kensington Palace where your private guide will walk you through the history of the palace and Queen Victoria’s life in a permanent exhibition.

6 London

Known as the “V&A”, the Victoria and Albert Museum is the world’s largest museum of decorative arts and design founded in 1852, the height of Victorian sensibilities, reflected in every aspect of the building.  Your private guide will ensure you get an insiders view of this historic building.

7 London Departure

Your driver and private car will meet you at your hotel and transfer you to the airport.
